Hired to redesign the GenePulser XCell Electroporation device firmware. Retrofitted modern code into older microcontrollers to deal with the semiconductor shortage. USB communications via FTDI Vinculum II for the TC20 Cell Counter & T100 Thermal Cycler.
Designed suite of 19 custom tools used to automate the calibration of the ultra-precise ChemiDoc Pro gel and Western blot image capture system. Wrote detailed 130 page algorithm and operation manual.

Spent 9 years developing ground up custom tool suite of forensic audio tools used in legal cases for the FBI, LAPD, Michael Jackson, the Menedez Brothers, Ozzy Osborne and many other Hollywood A-list. Custom developed many audio analysis tools such as a time correlated spectrograph, spectral shaping and subtraction filters, spectral painting tools, and a host of other tools to aid in the cleaning up of hard to comprehend audio.
Developed image analysis tool used to make precise, spatially correlated measurements of highly magnified ferrofluid over audio tape images used in many high profile legal cases. Many other bespoke projects.

Speech Synthesis Hardware and Software Developer
Developed realtime speech synthesis engine and custom UI for Mac and embedded devices. Several patents for new technologies and techniques.
This speech technology formed the foundation for Apple’s initial foray into Computer Speech Synthesis.
STANFORD UNIVERSITY
Mac Software Developer for CCRMA Department
Developed Waveguide Music Synthesis prototype for Brass Instruments using Stanford’s Physical Modeling Synthesis found in Yamaha music instruments.
DISNEY IMAGINEERING
Indiana Jones Ride Prototype Developer
Engineered motion base control and recording software for the Indiana Jones ride prototype, presented to Michael Eisner, along with custom-designed sound effects.
He greenlit the project. The rest is history.

Created the pollutant visualization software that retrieved NOAA’s real-time air quality data and generated graphical plots for publication in the weather section.
